The interesting part of the above article is that Wisconsin should not be doing this well on the enrollment or Obamacare if the critics were correct about our state policy towards Badgercare and expanding Medicaid.

If we remember WI did not expand Medicaid it left that up to the Federal Exchanges to enroll and take on the future costs associated with that transition.  It appears that bold move as paid dividends.  Not only did we not take on a large future liability we still had a very successful enrollment.

And we did it all without have to use our state funds to build an exchange, see Oregon's failed attempt for a contrast, and achieved a high enrollment.

Congratulations to our leaders on this one.

Expensive hospitals aren’t better hospitals

Expensive hospitals aren’t better hospitals

Interesting perspective on providing quality health to consumers.  When prices and quality are hidden it is ironic that those providers that offer lower cost services are actually the best quality which is counter the market forces that exist in the rest of our world.

This article asks some really good questions.  I think that these types of questions are going to become more important in how costs are finally rationalized before they become rationed.
