The interesting part of the above article is that Wisconsin should not be doing this well on the enrollment or Obamacare if the critics were correct about our state policy towards Badgercare and expanding Medicaid.



If we remember WI did not expand Medicaid it left that up to the Federal Exchanges to enroll and take on the future costs associated with that transition.  It appears that bold move as paid dividends.  Not only did we not take on a large future liability we still had a very successful enrollment.



And we did it all without have to use our state funds to build an exchange, see Oregon's failed attempt for a contrast, and achieved a high enrollment.
